All Woking Borough electors will be asked to present photo ID from an approved list before they can vote at the polling station at this year's local elections.

There are lots of fantastic services and groups available for older people in Woking, to help them live will and enjoy life - both now and in the future. Making small changes in our lifestyle habits today allows us to have a positive impact on our future health and wellbeing.

Here is a selection of events taking place throughout the year to help get you started on your living well journey:

Basingstoke Canal boat trips

Monday 1 April and Tuesday 2 April 2019, 11am and 1pm

Trips depart from outside WWF Living Planet Centre.

Help launch the new season for Kitty the Canal Boat. Advanced booking is required.

Tea dance

Wednesdays: 3 April, 26 June, 2 October 2019, 1pm to 4pm

HG Wells Conference and Events Centre

Informal social event, all dance abilities are welcome and you do not need a partner to join.

Silver Sunday

Sunday 6 October 2019, 3pm to 5pm

United Reformed Church, Woking

Afternoon tea with jazz band entertainment. Advanced booking required. Transport available for those with additional mobility needs.

Christmas gift sale
