Use of your personal data
In order to process planning applications, other development applications, objections, appeals and to respond to communications about breaches or any other Development Management matter, we (Woking Borough Council) collect and store some of your personal data. The personal data you provide to Development Management will not be used for any unrelated purpose, unless the law allows us to do so.
If you submit a planning application to the Council, your name and address will be displayed publicly on Public Access, which is a part of the Council website. Other personal data you provide, such as your signature, phone number and email address, will be redacted and stored securely.
Documentation relating to Development Management, which may include your personal data, may be retained permanently. You can contact us to ask us to access or to rectify the personal data we have about you or to object to the processing of it.
