Housing standards enforcement fees

We have a duty of care to deal with the most serious hazards and we may also deal with less serious hazards.

Actions we may take include serving informal hazard awareness notices, formal improvement and prohibition notices, plus specific action to deal with urgent hazards.

Any action taken by us will be in accordance with our housing enforcement policy.

*The charge for repairs undertaken by us will vary depending on the work being undertaken. The charge is based on an hourly rate, plus the cost of materials for the work being undertaken with a 20% administration charge added to the total amount.
