Sheerwater Regeneration Project
About the project
This multi million pound regeneration project will transform Sheerwater into a thriving, sustainable community.
The development will include a large central park, public amenities and 1,200 high quality, energy efficient homes surrounded by tree lined avenues, pocket gardens, and a variety of communal spaces to create an attractive new neighbourhood.
The project was given the green light in April 2019 and behind the site hoardings, the development is progressing rapidly. Work has begun on the new leisure facilities and first phase of residential housing.
Building works across the 74-acre site, in the centre of Sheerwater, will be phased to minimise disruption to existing residents and services.
Our Community Charter sets out the measures we’ve put into place to make the development process as smooth as possible for residents living within the regeneration area.
