We have invested in a new housing IT system which aims to improve services for our customers. Over recent years, customer expectations have changed regarding how they would like to access our services and how we communicate with them.
The new system covers the day to day operations of the housing advice, housing allocations and housing management services. The first system upgrade has delivered a new choice based lettings system, which provides more information about advertised properties and makes your online bidding simpler. You also have more access to information regarding your applications and bids.
To access the new system, you need to update your existing online account. If you do not update this, you will not be able to bid for properties.
How to update your online account
To access the new choice based lettings system, you are required to update your online account by submitting the following information:
- your housing application reference number
- your surname
- your date of birth.

Alternatively, a member of the team can assist you in person at the Civic Offices between 10am to 12pm, Monday to Friday until Friday 10 January 2020.
