Woking Borough Council: Hoe Valley Ward
Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Borough Councillor for the Hoe Valley Ward, following the resignation of Councillor Andy Caulfield.
An election will be held if TWO electors from within the borough request, in writing or by email, that the Proper Officer commence the procedure to hold an election to fill the vacancy.
A request to fill the vacancy must be made in writing to: The Proper Officer, Woking Borough Council , Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking GU21 6YL

On receipt of the request to fill the vacancy with an election, the Returning Officer will set a date for an election to be held within 35 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
