This spring, from April 2022, we are putting play back on the map as we invite you and your family to move, shake, scribble, shuffle, hop, bop, dance, star jump, bounce and wriggle your way onto a brand new illustrated playground.
This larger than life playground is for everyone; children, adults and everyone in between to connect and share a moment of play.
The Wriggle and Scribble Playground will be setting imaginations free in Victoria Place but - this is the best bit - it's designed by you.
Thank you to everyone who signed-up to attend our free creative workshops at Woking Library during the February half term holidays.
The ideas explored during the workshops have been transformed into an illustrated playground by the lead artist for the project, Anna Bruder.
Working in partnership
The Wriggle and Scribble Playground and associated activities are brought to you by Woking Borough Council, Freedom Leisure, Surrey County Council, A Line Art, Arts Partnership Surrey and Farnham Maltings.
What time does the playground open and close?
The playground will officially open on Monday 4 April for a limited time only. The playground is open throughout the week Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, Thursday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Bank holiday timings may differ, so please check Bank Holiday opening times.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! It’s totally free.
