The 2021 Census of Population for England and Wales reflects the population of England and Wales as at on 21 March 2021 (Census Day).
Census 2021 results
- Woking borough’s is estimated to have a total population of 103,900 – an increase of 4.8% (99,200) since the previous census in 2011.
- The average (median) age of Woking increased by two years, from 38 to 40 years old.
- The number of people aged 50 to 64 years rose by just under 2,000 – an increase of 11.3%.
- The number of residents aged 4 years and under ell by just under 1,000 – a decrease of 14.6%.
