From Monday 16 September, we will be contacting residents registered on the electoral register who have previously supplied their email address to us.
This activity forms part of our ‘annual canvass’ which is conducted each year to ensure that the electoral register is up-to-date and to identify any residents who are not yet registered to vote.
All emails will be sent from us and be entitled: ‘Check Your Electoral Registration Details Now'. To confirm the authenticity of these emails, we have published a sample version of this email.
If you are contacted, we urge you to check your electoral details online by following the instructions provided. By confirming or updating your records, you’re ensuring that you remain eligible to vote in the forthcoming election in May 2025.
If other members of your household are not registered to vote, they can register to vote online.
