Grant Thornton has been appointed Administrators over Peacocks Centre, and Moyallen Woking Limited, the two companies which own and operate the Peacocks Shopping Centre in Woking. The appointments also include two other related companies which own shopping centres in Northern Ireland.
Stephen Cave, Head of Restructuring for Grant Thornton (NI) LLP, said: “Our immediate priority has been to ensure Peacocks Shopping Centre continues to trade as normal under the ultimate control of the Administrators, with no operational impact for tenants or shoppers. We have and will continue to liaise with key stakeholders, including Woking Borough Council, as we manage the position and consider future options.”
Moyallen Developments Limited and Victoria Square Woking Limited, which are involved in the overall Victoria Place development, are unaffected and do not form part of the appointments.
