Council tenants asked to rate housing services

Date:

Wednesday, 5 February, 2025

Woking Borough Council has written to its housing tenants inviting them to complete its 2024 to 2025 Tenant Satisfaction Survey.

The council is required by the Regulator for Social Housing to measure and publish tenant satisfaction on an annual basis to benchmark its performance and identify areas for improvement.

The survey questions relate to the housing services the council provides as a landlord and cover themes such as keeping homes in good repair, building safety, responding to complaints, keeping tenants informed and looking after their neighbourhoods.

Louise Strongitharm, Woking Borough Council’s Strategic Director for Communities, said: “This survey provides us with valuable insight which we use to make decisions about our services so it’s really important all tenants respond.

“We require one survey per household, and tenants have until midnight on Sunday 2 March 2025 to have their say.

“We received a total of 433 responses to our 2023 to 2024 Tenant Satisfaction Survey and the issues identified are being addressed through our Housing Improvement Plan.

“Our tenant satisfaction survey takes 10 minutes to complete, and tenants could be in with a chance of winning a £100 voucher or one of five £50 vouchers for sharing their views.”
