Have your say on Hook Heath Neighbourhood Forum

Date:

Monday, 27 January, 2020

People who live, work or carry out their business in Hook Heath are being asked for their views on the redesignation of the Hook Heath Neighbourhood Forum (HHNF) through a consultation, open until Friday 28 February 2020.

Established in October 2013, the Hook Heath Neighbourhood Forum was the first within the borough. Each designated forum lasts for a period of five years and an application has been submitted to Woking Borough Council to extend the designation for a further five years.

A neighbourhood forum is the first step towards developing a neighbourhood plan for an area. The Hook Heath Neighbourhood Plan was adopted in October 2015 and sits alongside the borough's Development Plan Documents, such as the Woking Core Strategy, helping to determine the outcome of planning applications within the Hook Heath neighbourhood area.

Having achieved its original purpose, the HHNF has set out a series of revised objectives, described in detail within the application.

Copies of the application can be viewed by visiting www.woking2027.info/neighbourhoodplanning or in person at the Civic Offices or Woking Library.

Representations can be submitted by emailing planning.policy@woking.gov.uk or by letter to Planning Policy, Woking Borough Council, Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking GU21 6YL.

All comments must be received no later than 5pm, Friday 28 February 2020.

For further information about the application, please contact the Planning Policy Team by calling 01483 743871 or email planning.policy@woking.gov.uk
