In response to an incident in Woking Park during yesterday evening's firework display (Saturday 3 November 2018), the Council has issued the statement below.
"Our thoughts are with the young people injured during last night's firework display in Woking Park and their families. We wish them a full and prompt recovery. We would like to extend our thanks to the emergency services who were on scene quickly and tended to the injured.
"We will be working with the event organiser, Surrey Police and the Health and Safety Executive to understand the circumstances that led to last night's incident."
