As the Victoria Place development nears completion, it is necessary to close Victoria Way in both directions to enable the removal of the final construction crane this weekend.
Victoria Way will be closed to traffic in both directions from 7am, Friday 23 July to 5am, Monday 26 July 2021.
During the closure, Sir Robert McAlpine will be coordinating the removal of the final crane from the construction site. This will involve some overnight works. It is necessary to close the highway to ensure the safety of the public and workforce.
Traffic Marshalls will be managing the closure and a signed diversion route will be operation during the weekend. Access will be maintained for residents.
Please note, good weather conditions are essential for the crane’s removal. These works may be postponed at short notice and works rearranged for the next available weekend.
