Date:
The biggest fireworks event in Woking, the Fireworks Extravaganza, returns to Woking Park on Saturday 2 November 2019.
The big pyrotechnic performance lights up the sky from 7.30pm, half an hour earlier than previous years. This earlier start will make the event even more family-friendly.
Eagle Radio’s morning show host Adam Morris will rock the crowd during the build up to the display, which will mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
Gates open at 5.30pm, with funfair rides and refreshments available until 9.30pm.
We are delighted to welcome our sponsors Stratfield Homes as the fireworks sponsor, and Farrans who sponsor the sound system for the event.
Paul Cooper, Managing Director of Stratfield Homes, a quality regional developer building aspirational new homes in Ottershaw village, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor this popular event and support the local community, we welcome any local home hunters to visit our stunning new Show Home at Claybourne Gardens.”
Steve Haviland, Farrans Contracts Manager said: “Farrans has a strong association with Woking through our work for Woking Borough Council in the town centre over several years. We are delighted to be able to show our commitment to the people of Woking by supporting this fantastic community event in this way.”
Organised by the Rotary Club of Woking District, the Fireworks Extravaganza is considered to be one of the best firework displays in the South East, and is the most popular paid-for event held in Woking.
