Community survey about our website

Our website is nearly seven years old and it needs rebuilding to provide better online services for you. To do this, we need your feedback.

Tell us what you think of this website

We are working with a local company, Invuse, to find out what residents feel and think about our website.

We have opened an online survey, using Smart Survey, to find out:

  • how often you use our website
  • what you do and do not like about it
  • what works and what does not work
  • what could be done better

The survey should take no longer than 10 to 15 minutes to complete and it closes at 5pm on Friday 23 August 2024.

How your feedback will help us

The new website design will be based on what our technical data tell us and your feedback.

These results will help us design better online customer journeys, including website search, webpage content and eforms.

The new site will be published section-by-section towards the end of this year and into 2025.

What we want to achieve

Our new website will:

  • introduce a new and cleaner look based on Government Digital Service standards
  • provide better usability and accessibility based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (known as WCAG 2.2)
  • provide shorter and clearer service information
  • be more mobile friendly
  • have more online forms which are easier to fill in
  • make it easier to contact the right service and get in touch with us
